In search of a beautiful hotel in Sarasota? The Sarasota Modern is your answer. With its vintage ambiance, tropical landscapes, and elegant rooms, it promises a memorable stay.

Lobby & Check In Process

The lobby boasts a beautiful retro design, complete with charming details like a turntable and a vintage refrigerator. The service here is exceptional, surpassing that of other hotels in the Sarasota area. Additionally, the lobby features cool music and a pleasant ambiance.

Pool Area

The pool area is delightful, featuring tropical landscaping, table tennis, and cabanas. There are three pools available: a standard pool, a hot tub, and a cold plunge pool. I only tried the standard pool, but it was a very pleasant experience. The poolside bar is also quite inviting.

The Modern's Food Scene

I didn't dine much at the hotel since my suite included a kitchen, but I did have breakfast at Wink Wink, the hotel's restaurant. The omelets were delightful, and the ambiance of the restaurant was very pleasant. The service was excellent, consistent with the rest of the hotel's offerings.

Room Design & Condition

I was upgraded to a Presidential Suite, which was delightful. The suite featured a kitchen, living room, and dining room, along with a luxurious king-sized bedroom. The space was highly functional, boasting an apartment-style layout and design. The toiletries and soaps in the bathroom had a delightful fragrance, unlike any I had experienced in a hotel before.
